A school that happens to be online
Pioneer Academy teaches kindergarten through grade 12 in live classes, with a timetable, teachers who know the children they teach, and a report at the end of every term.
Why we exist
Families come to us for ordinary reasons. A move mid-year. A class of thirty where a child stopped asking questions. Training or medical appointments that a normal school day cannot bend around. Living somewhere the local options do not fit.
What they want is not a library of videos. It is school: a teacher, a timetable, classmates, work that gets marked, and somebody who notices when a child is struggling. That is what we built, and we kept it deliberately small so the noticing actually happens.
How we teach
Live, not recorded
Every lesson is taught in real time. Children ask questions and get answers in the moment, which is most of what a classroom is for.
Small classes
Small enough for a teacher to know how each child is doing without waiting for a test to tell them.
A real timetable
Set hours, set subjects, set deadlines. Structure is what makes learning at home work.
Parents in the loop
Attendance, assignments and comments in the portal, and a teacher who calls before a problem becomes a report card.
The school levels
Accreditation, plainly
Pioneer Academy is not an accredited school. We are working toward accreditation and will publish the outcome. Report cards and transcripts are school-issued, so please confirm with your district, school or college that they will accept them.
Where we are
Pioneer Academy LLC is registered in the United States, at 971 US Highway 202N, Ste R, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Teaching is online; the office is where the paperwork lives. Classes run on Eastern Time.
